Discover the Diversity
Southeastern Louisiana is a treasure trove of avian diversity.
From the majestic Bald Eagle and colorful migratory warblers to our beloved Purple Martins, our festival is a unique opportunity to witness the incredible biodiversity that graces our region.

Native Plants and Wildlife Conservation
Beyond the birds, we celebrate the intricate relationship between native plants and wildlife.
Join us in exploring the vital role of indigenous flora in sustaining bird populations.
Our reforestation workshops empower attendees to actively contribute to preserving these critical ecosystems.
Homes for
Our Feathered Friends
Learn how you can make a difference in the lives of our feathered friends.
We love creating safe havens that contribute to the overall well-being of local and migratory species.
We provide educational sessions to guide you on providing suitable housing for birds like the Purple Martin, a declining species on the watch list.

Inspiring the
Next Generation
Since its inception, the Festival has been a beacon for education.
Thousands of children from local schools have experienced these birds firsthand.
These positive experiences foster a connection with nature that lasts a lifetime.
We are so proud to inspire the next generation of environmental stewards.
Banding for Conservation
Witness the process of bird banding- a crucial part of our conservation efforts.
Through banding, we track and monitor the movements of migratory birds, contributing valuable data to Audubon Louisiana’s ongoing research.
Guests of the Saint Bernard Bird Festival find this feature particularly thrilling. They love to be a part of the journey towards a sustainable future for our winged companions.
